No matter whether they are pictured at work, rest or play, people have always been fascinated by photographs of the royal family.
The latest collection of photographs to be gathered into book form is now out in book shops.
The Royals contains more than 400 images from the Mirrorpix archives, along with information and extensive captions.
It is a photographic record of the British Royal Family spanning from the death of Queen Victoria in 1901 to today.
The collection covers two world wars, the Elizabethan era, the generational expansion of the royals in the 1980s and 1990s, the tragic death of Princess Diana in 1997 and the rejuvenation of the royal brand under Princes William and Harry.
Highlighting every major era of the 20th century, The Royals takes a look at the lives and historical events spanning five monarcharies.
If you have this book out on display on your coffee table, be prepared for it to a real conversation piece as the pages are turned and people, places and events are recalled.
