Hand-carved steps weave alongside some of Australia’s highest sea cliffs thanks to meticulous work by the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service.
Described more as a natural pathway than a traditional bushwalking track, the mud-free 46km track is wide enough for people to walk side by side.
What’s more, those who prefer looking at views rather than their feet, will appreciate the track’s meticulous construction.
Three environmentally-sensitive cabins are positioned at key points during the four-day/three night walk with unsurpassed views, comfy mattresses, heating and kitchen utensils.
