From concerts and dances to courses and cruises, there is sure to be something for everyone.
Sandy Bay Senior Citizens Club's beginners' line dancing class marks its first birthday during the week, and you're invited to try a free class from 11am-12.30pm on October 14.
If you're ready for a bit more action, you can try zumba gold classes at a variety of venues throughout the week, or join in a Heartmoves class.
Devonport seniors will be able to take advantage of an information expo at Baptcare Orana's day centre from 10am on October 12. Local author Bob Horsman will read excerpts from his book Wanderings of a Ten Pound Pom, and there will be a demonstration of Google Earth. Members of Devonport Lapidary Society will show expo-goers how to transform rough stones into polished gems.
Port Sorell Primary School will become a display case of beautiful blooms for the Port Sorell Spring Garden Fair from 10am-4pm on October 18.
Glenview Community Services at Glenorchy will throw open its doors for the whole week to show people what's available.
Other activities include the chance to have a go at indoor bowls, croquet or woodcraft.
Seniors Week is organised by COTA Tasmania for the state government.
