Standing 134 metres above the sparking harbour, they flew satin capes of rainbow colours to launch The Mardi Gras Climb 2016, encouraging participants and supporters of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival to break out the hairspray and blue eye shadow to sing and dance on the bridge.
The Mardi Gras Climb will run from February 25 to March 9 and tickets are now available.
