Six bands will battle it out on stage in a cabaret-style format at this year’s Barossa Band Festival on October 24.

The Tanunda Show Hall will host this wonderful night of music. The festival committee, led by Bevan Roennfeldt, has refined this popular style of evening performance where the audience gets to vote for best band on the night.
The bands, a mixture of brass and concert, are The Tanunda Town Band, Nuriootpa Town Band, Salisbury City Band, Playford City Band, Payneham City Band and Campbelltown City Band.
While this year’s festival will not include the traditional street parade, there will still be plenty of music to wrap your ears around.
Local school bands have been invited to join the senior bands that will be inte- grated into the evening performance.
The bring your own supper, alcoholic drinks and refreshments remains – don’t forget your drinking glasses! Catering will also be available, with The Coffee Pot on hand to serve coffee,
A new treat will be the delicious fare from Traditional Belgian Waffles.
Tickets $20, children under 15 free.
