A ONE-stop online shop of potentially life-saving clinical trials can now be accessed by patients.

The website was launched on International Clinical Trials Day and will hopefully help address the shortage of patient participation for some trials.
"Clinical trials are an essential part of ensuring that the life-saving treatments and drugs we use are safe and effective," said Minister for Health Sussan Ley.
Participating in clinical trials offered patients access to new trial therapies offering them hope at a tine when other avenues may have already been exhausted.
Not being able to recruit enough participants is considered one of the main reasons for a seven per cent decline in the number of trials conducted in Australian from 2012 to 2013, she said.
"This reform will provide Australians right across the country, including regional and rural patients, greater access to clinical trials and will help improve health outcomes."
