You can nominate a colleague, group, organisation or friend. It could be a doctor, nurse, allied health professional, care worker, volunteer organisation, educator, student or individual... basically anyone making a difference in the aged care community through their work.
Categories are: Care Giver, Professional (executive or management), Volunteer Organisation, Individual Volunteer, Education and, new this year,
Wellbeing, which recognises the contribution of an individual going above and beyond normal practices. This could include someone who has spearheaded a new walking group for seniors or an organisation that has introduced a nutritional plan for clients.
"The Bethanie Medallion Awards reflect a commitment to genuinely welcoming WA seniors into a warm, friendly and engaging environment, where the focus is well and truly on providing them with excellent service," said Bethanie chief executive Chris How.
Nominations close on August 17.
