A NEW booklet will help older Victorians understand enduring powers of attorney.
Your voice – Trust your choice: tips for seniors making enduring powers of attorney was developed by Commissioner for Senior Victorians Gerard Mansour and the Office of the Public Advocate.
It explains how to choose someone to be your power of attorney, your rights, sample wording, what to do if you are being pressured or experience conflict of interest, and where to go for help.
“This booklet will help seniors take control of their future and prevent abuse from occurring,” Mr Mansour said.
