VICTORIANS can now have their say on the proposed pricing for water by the state's 17 water businesses.
The Essential Services Commission has received submissions from the water businesses outlining plans for pricing from July 1, 2018.
Commission chair Ron Ben-David said it was the first water price review under a new approach designed to give customers more say.
Customers now have until November 10 to comment on the water businesses' submissions. The feedback will be considered ahead of a draft decision which will be open for further feedback.
The submissions made by the water businesses to the ESC can be obtained by contacting your local water authority. If you don't know who that is you can phone the ESC on 9032-1300 and ask for the relevant submission or for the water business contact details.
Feedback can be made in writing by email to water@esc.vic.gov.au or by mail to Essential Services Commission, Level 37, 2, Lonsdale Street, Melbourne 3000.
