WIN: Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies tickets

Tuesday, 13th March, 2018

Help Tinkerbell and her fairy friends find their lost wings in this open-air production.

ALL the little fairies will be fluttering to Sydney's Royal Botanic Garden next month for Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies - and we have tickets for you and the grandkids to give away.

This sweet, outdoor theatre production sees Disney meet Shakespeare when the adventurous Tinkerbell happens upon the fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Together, the cheeky Mustardseed, fluttery Moth, daring Cobweb and sweet Peaseblossom all go on a magical quest with Tinkerbell, learning about each other and the different worlds they come from.

Australian Shakespeare Company artistic director Glenn Elston designed this show especially for young audiences, drawing on many years spent creating theatre in magical outdoor settings.

"In all the years we performed A Midsummer Night's Dream in the gardens, the fairies always entranced our smallest spectators.," Glenn said.

"Building the fairies into a show for children - with the delightful and mischievous Tinkerbell - seemed like a natural fit."

Audience members are invited to dress in their best fairy or elf outfit (though superheroes, Jedis and pirates are all welcome).

The magic is on from April 14-29, with tickets $25 for weekday sessions or $30 on weekends.
