THREDBO is the place to be this April.
The School Holidays Adventure Festival, on from April 8-22, kicks off all the fun.
Visitors can win their share of $10,000 on April 16 with the egg-citing Easter event, Thredbo's Golden Easter Egg Hunt by Lindt.
There are six eggs hidden in the mountains - all representing cash!
Five are worth $1000 while the lucky person who finds number six will take home $5000.
The kids can join in on the fun with the Giant Kids Easter Egg Hunt where over 5000 chocolate eggs can be found.
But the fun doesn't end there. They will be plenty of activities running until the end of the school holidays including circus workshops, family yoga, arts and craft sessions plus golf, tennis and disc golf.
If swing is more your style, be at the mountains from April 28-30 for the Australian Jazz Festival's 30th birthday.
There is traditional jazz, main stream, modern jazz, big bands, Latin jazz, funk and soul performances to keep all jazz lovers entertained.
The program features 17 bands playing across a variety of venues from the village to the top of the mountain.
Lisa Hunt and Forever Soul are making their debut festival performance along with Unity Hall Jazz Band, Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen.
Barnard Family Jazz Band and Chukale will make audiences dance while Kirrawee High Band will bring their youthful energy back to the festival.
All inclusive festival and accommodation packages start from $160 per person per night.
