SCULPTURE at Barangaroo will be staged at Sydney's newest and most spectacular harbour foreshore park, Barangaroo Reserve, from August 6-21.
Free to the public, the temporary exhibition will transform the six-hectare headland reserve into an open-air sculpture park.
The event is presented in partnership with Sculpture by the Sea, which has been delighting Sydney with its outdoor exhibitions along the Bondi coastal walk for almost 20 years.
It will showcase 12 outdoor artworks by a stellar line-up of 15 Australian artists, including senior, established and emerging artists.
The collection includes six new works and six existing works selected specifically for the exhibition.
The event will culminate with a major celebration to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of Barangaroo Reserve on August 21.
Barangaroo Reserve is easily accessible by public transport and on foot from Circular Quay, Walsh Bay, Millers Point and The Rocks. The closest train stations are Wynyard and Circular Quay.
