GRAB a red dress and head to the Gold Coast tomorrow (July 15) to celebrate Kate Bush's classic song Wuthering Heights at the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever.
An international event, the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever started in 2013 when UK performance artists Shambush brought 300 Kate Bush impersonators for a flash mob in a Sussex park. The dancers, all dressed as Cathy, turned it into the wily, windy moors from Emily Bronte's story with interpretive dance moves from Bush's 1978 video clip.
The event's success inspired former Gold Coast resident Sam Wareing to create a movement that grew to global proportions.
Last year 20,000 women, men and children donned red dresses, gathered in parks across the globe and danced en masse to the song.
This year Aussies can get in on the action at Evandale Lake in Surfers Paradise.
The free event starts at 2pm, July 15.
