A HIGH tea simply too beautiful to eat? Sofitel Sydney Wentworth will tantalise your senses with an art-inspired Archibald High Tea.
The hotel will demonstrate its culinary and artistic skills by offering guests the special high tea in its Soiree Bar from July 18- August 31.
Inspired by the works of 2016 finalist Melissa Ritchie, it is designed to put fun and creativity back into high tea.
The signature element, the Cookies Match Box, highlights a miniature version of the match box.
The Archibald High Tea is priced from $69 per person including Dilmah tea or $89 per person with a glass of Veuve Clicquot. The price includes a ticket to the Archibald Prize 2017 at the Art Gallery of NSW from July 29 to October 22.
During the exhibition the hotel will feature a foyer display with reproductions of the most memorable portraits from the last five years' Archibald Prize winners, Packing Room Prize winners and People's Choice winners.
