LOBSTER rolls, chilli margaritas and Nutella crepes are just some of the tasty morsels visitors to South Melbourne’s Night Market can look forward to.
Now in its 10th year, the market takes place on Thursday evenings until February 22.
“From humble beginnings, the South Melbourne Night Market has grown into a must-do Melbourne event,” said Port Phillip mayor Bernadene Voss.
“Dinner and drinks, shopping and music under the stars – it’s a much-loved combination.”
As well as the many gourmet bites to sink your teeth into from the many food trucks, carts and restaurants, there is live entertainment and shopping opportunities.
The music line-up offers something new every week, showcasing local singer-songwriters, indie folk, jazz and world music artists.
The market is free to enter. It’s on the corner of Coventry and Cecil Streets, South Melbourne – catch the 96 or 12 trams to South Melbourne; free rooftop parking from 5.30pm.
