THE picturesque Suffoir Vineyard at Macarthur in the Moyne Shire comes alive in March for the annual Music in the Vines Festival.
The community-run event will feature alternative/folk outfit The Settlement, Scottish/Irish/Australian band The BordererS, blues and country musician Liam Gerner, local group Blue Gum, four-piece acoustic group Since Tuesday, singer songwriter Janaya McDonald and musician Rhys Crimmin.
The family friendly day will offer a picnic atmosphere with children’s activities, food, local wines and the vineyard’s own selection of wines and craft beer.
- Suffoir Vineyard, 144 Mount Eccles Road, Macarthur, March 3 from 11am-11pm with buses from Hamilton, Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland. No BYO alcohol (BYO food and non-alcoholic drinks allowed).

Macarthur is a 35-minute drive from the charming seaside town of Port Fairy and about 300km west of Melbourne on the Hamilton Highway.
