VINTAGE machinery from paddleboats to classic riverboats, tractors, trucks, bikes and steam engines will come out of backyard sheds and garages for the Wentworth Junction Rally on July 15-16.
The event has been organised by the Vintage Machinery Society of Sunraysia and the River and Riverboat Historical and Preservation Society.
Restoration and preservation experts and enthusiasts will no doubt be getting their pride and joy spick and span for their two days out in the great outdoors.
The venue is Wentworth’s Junction Park, abutting the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers on the Victoria-NSW border.
Gates open 10am-4pm Saturday and 10am-3pm Sunday.
The paddlesteamer PS Melbourne will steam into Wentworth from Mildura for the rally, which takes place every three years.
