IT MAY have been devastated by bushfires in March, but the NSW Sapphire Coast town of Tathra is very much open for business.
A state government support package worth $100,000 is helping the local tourism industry get back on its feet.
The funding will go towards programs to help drive overnight visitors to the area and send a clear message to
travellers that the region's hotels, restaurants and local attractions are open for business and ready to give a warm welcome.
So if you're looking for somewhere for your next holiday or short break, try Tathra. By doing so, you'll be doing your bit to boost the local economy at a time when it is most needed.
