A special Night at Field of Light on Christmas Day comes complete with a festive menu.
The four-and-a-half hour experience includes an introduction to the internationally acclaimed Field of Light Uluru, where guests will enjoy sparkling wine and canapes from an elevated viewing area as the sun sets over Uluru and the Field of Light comes alive.
There will also be extra time for guests to enjoy the magical installation following their three-course Christmas buffet dinner featuring traditional dishes and bush tucker-inspired fare.
Christmas dishes on offer include roast turkey with sage gravy; glazed Christmas ham with native chutney; smoked salmon platters; chilled prawns; Christmas pudding with brandy creme anglaise; Christmas cookies, and fruit mince tarts.
Dishes with native Australian flavours include smoked kangaroo with native pepperberry yoghurt; poached prawn, sea parsley and finger lime aioli bun; native thyme roasted beef porterhouse medallions, roasted root vegetables and red wine jus; warm pear and lemon myrtle pudding; and Davidson plum baked cheesecake.
The Christmas evening under the stars is priced at $260 adults and $130 children (10-15 years), including return coach transfers. Guests can also choose to arrive in spectacular style by camel or helicopter.
