PIONEERING eco-cruise line Coral Expeditions' 2019 Kimberley and Cape York and Arnhem Land sailings include some tours aboard its new vessel, Coral Adventurer.
This will be the first time the company's fourth vessel will cruise the remote and ancient areas of northern Australia, taking guests to pristine regions inaccessible to larger vessels.
Raising the bar for coastal expedition cruising, the new state-of-the-art small ship will carry 120 passengers.
There will be daily expeditions on the Xplorer tender and zodiacs. Guest lecturers specialising in geology, history and ecology will be on board.
Remaining true to its small ship expedition origins, the company will continue to offer passengers the choice between the classic Coral Expeditions I (44 passengers) and the recently refurbished Coral Discoverer (72 passengers) as well as the custom-built Coral Adventurer.
The three expedition ships have been built for Australian coastal cruising and can safely navigate the rivers and scenic inlets of the Kimberley and Arnhem Land.
The 10-night and 11-night itineraries depart between March and October 2019. Cape York sailings depart from Cairns on March 17 and April 14, and from Darwin on October 4 and 18. The Kimberley itineraries run between Darwin and Broome on regular sailings from March 29 until October 7. Prices start from $8690 per person.
