SOMETIMES getting to a port to catch your cruise can add hundreds of dollars to the cost of your holiday.
So Royal Caribbean has launched an air/cruise offer so its guests can add domestic return flights to Sydney from just $1 to meet their sailing on most local cruises this year.
The offer applies to bookings made through to 5pm on May 31 on a huge selection of local Royal Caribbean sailings departing from Sydney between the end of October and the middle of December this year.
This coming summer season, Royal Caribbean will have four ships down under - the all-new, record-breaking Ovation of the Seas, along with South Pacific sisters Voyager of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas
The flight offer is available for new bookings on most 2017 Royal Caribbean International Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific voyages of five nights or longer.
Travellers can add return economy flights to Sydney with Virgin Australia from Brisbane, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Adelaide, Launceston, Canberra or Hobart from just $1, while return flights from Cairns, Townsville, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Hervey Bay or Perth can be added from $99. Discounted flights are also available from other destinations.
Cruise fares start from $889 per person twin share for an Interior Stateroom on a seven-night South Pacific cruise onboard Explorer of the Seas. Departing Sydney on November 19, the round-trip sailing calls in to Noumea and Lifou.
