
It is a perennial family favourite, and Glenn Elston's hugely popular production of Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows will return to Sydney early next year.
The popular show will be back at the Royal Botanic Garden from January 5-28.
Kids and adults alike will delight in meeting Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly, and Mr Toad as Kenneth Grahame's beloved story of life on the riverbank is reimagined.
This is the 22ndyear the show - which features songs, audience participation and plenty of laughs - has been performed at the gardens.
Patrons are welcome to bring food or drinks to the picnic seating event, along with picnic blankets, wet weather gear and sun protection.
The highly interactive show will move to different locations throughout the course of each performance.
Enter via any gate and continue to Harbourside of the Main Pond for the start of the show.
Show times will be 6pm only on January 5; 10.30am & 6pm on Saturdays; 11am on Sundays; 10.30am on Wednesdays; and 10.30am and 6pm on Thursdays & Fridays (no show on January 26). Prices are $25 per person, $90 for family passes (Wednesdays and Thursdays), or $30 per person ($110 families) on Fridays and weekends.
