The Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway is currently seeking volunteers in a range of areas.
The railway is Geelong's only passenger carrying miniature railway and is located on eight hectares of beautiful parkland on the foreshore of Portarlington.
Volunteers are being sought in the areas of signal operations, train drivers, maintenance and kiosk staff and all training will be provided.
Volunteering is a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant not-for-profit association which has exciting plans to further develop the railway by making improvements to its track and infrastructure.
All revenue from the service goes to railway maintenance or is donated to worthwhile charities.
The railway operates fortnightly on Sundays, with additional services offered during school holiday periods.
