French Polynesian cargo cruise line Aranui Cruises is offering big savings on its 2024 Pitcairn and Austral Islands cruises.
The second guest in a twin share room can enjoy half-price fare, and the single supplement has been removed for 2024 Pitcairn and Austral Islands voyages.
On sale until December 31, 2023, Aranui's 11-day roundtrip voyage from Papeete to Pitcairn Island via the Tuamotus and Gambiers, departing February 17, 2024, is priced from $9234 for solo travellers in a stateroom - a saving of $6067. A twin share stateroom is priced from $14,134 for two guests, a saving of $4334.

The voyage includes an overnight stay at Adamstown as well as calls at Tuamotu atolls' Hikueru, Amanu and Anaa, and two visits to Mangareva in the Gambier Islands, home to some of French Polynesia's finest black pearls.
The 11-day roundtrip from Papeete to the Austral Islands (departing March 30 and November 2, 2024) is on sale until November 30. Solo travellers can secure a stateroom from $8503, while a twin share stateroom is priced from $13,038.
The voyages visit all five inhabited Austral Islands - Tubuai, Rurutu, Rimatara, Raivavae, known as the Bora Bora of the south, and Rapa Iti, where Aranui 5 is currently the only cruise ship permitted to visit.
Cruises include thousands of dollars worth of shore excursions such as hikes, visits to archaeological sites and local feasts, a weekly laundry service, three meals a day and complimentary French wine with onboard lunches and dinners.
Aranui 5 has a restaurant, conference rooms, lounges, a library, boutique, swimming pool, gym, spa and bars.
