If you love Christmas, making youngsters smile, dressing up and a good belly laugh, how about being Santa?
The call has gone out for 2023 Santas - and seniors are in their sights.
Scene to Believe is looking for people to don the red suit and become a Santa character at their local shopping centre Santa photo set.
And although it's truly a labour of love, it is also a paid role that can provide a source of extra income at a time of year when purse strings can become a little stretched.
"It's a fantastic thing to be involved in," said experienced Santa character Tony Hooper.
"It's the only job I've ever done where I can get up in the morning and have a smile on my face and go to work and have an absolute ball.
"And what's more, get paid for it."

Think you might not have the goods? Think again.
You don't need a beard or to look like Santa. You just need a big heart and a big smile.
The suit, accessories and training is provided - everything you need to comfortably and confidently slip into the role.
Ideally, applicants will be available to work a flexible schedule of about 24 hours a week during November and December.
All applicants must be willing to obtain a working with children check.
Call the Santa hotline on (02) 9054-2636 or visit scenetobelieve.com.au/santa-jobs for more information.
