Registrations are now open to receive a River Revival Voucher to spend in South Australia's Murray River regions.
Following the record-breaking floods this summer, Victorian and South Australian residents can help revive river communities by entering the ballot to win a $50, $100 or $200 River Revival Voucher that can be redeemed on accommodation, houseboats and tours.
A total of 25,000 vouchers will be available in three rounds this year as part of the South Australian Government's $4.6 million recovery plan for the regions.
Cutting through Australia like an artery before meeting the sea in South Australia, the Murray River has informed a way of life for people - and businesses - dotted along its banks. When the river experienced those record-breaking floods, it was the people who call the Riverland and Murray River, Lakes and Coorong regions home that suffered the most.
The competition is being run by the South Australian Tourism Commission. The registration period closes on Wednesday March 29 at 10pm ACST, and successful participants will be notified via email and SMS on Thursday March 30, 2023.
