Classic Country Gold is a spectacular symphonic salute to country music legends at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
Multi-awarded stars Darren Coggan (John Denver/Glen Campbell), Amber Joy Poulton (Tammy Wynette) and Lizzie Moore (Patsy Cline) perform a glittering set list of mega-hits spanning the decades, accompanied by the Adelaide Concert Orchestra.
Among the tunes you can think of for the show are Rhinestone Cowboy, Wichita Lineman, Take Me Home, Country Roads, Rocky Mountains High, Walkin' After Midnight, D-I-V-O-R-C-E, Stand By Your Man, Silver Threads & Golden Needles, Crazy, Tennessee Waltz, I Fall to Pieces, and William Tell Overture.
Promoter Mario Maiolo is excited about the show.
"This homage to country music superstars has been four years in the making. I am thrilled that we are presenting a symphonic Classic Country Gold with an all- Australian cast and the Adelaide Concert Orchestra, conducted by Graeme Press," he said.
