The season finale of Hunted Australia has received a mixed reaction on social media with many punters criticising scripted elements of the show.
Rob Harneiss and Stathi Vamvoulidis won the series as they were the only two remaining fugitives who managed to avoid capture on Tuesday night's season finale.
First onto the helicopter was Rob while Stathi followed behind - with two hunters in pursuit as he ran down the beach to the chopper.
Both contestants were able to claim the $100,000 prize money, which they split with their captured teammates, meaning they each took home $25,000.
But reaction to the season finale on social media was mixed with many criticising the show's scriptedness and abrupt ending.
