Echuca's waters are looking a little different with a change of boats in the area.
Murray River Paddlesteamers have welcomed a new vessel, the Murray Explorer, which can cater for 47 passengers. It replaces the Pride of the Murray, which travelled 1750km by road to Queensland in June.
Meanwhile, the company has also received Tripadvisors's highest honour, Best of the Best, placing the 2 to 6-night PS Emmylou Cruises among the Top 1% of Tripadvisor listings worldwide.
The award takes into account the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings, and ranks the very best accommodations, destinations, attractions, restaurants, airlines, and experiences in specific categories and geographic areas, as rated and reviewed by travellers.
Director Craig Burgess said: "In a year that has presented many challenges, a big thank you to our team who make it happen every day, and to our valued guests who have taken the time to review their cruise experience."
"Our PS Emmylou overnight cruises have been very popular with domestic visitors over the past 12 months with many visitors having never considered an Australian River cruise before."
Overnight guests aboard PS Emmylou experience places rarely seen along the river.
