Audiences from Australia's southeast to west will be transported back to the 1950s and 60s over the next few months, with rock 'n' roll spectacular Shake Rattle 'n' Roll set to return to stages.
Following sell-out seasons at various theatres across the country, the show, which debuted in 1993, is celebrating three decades of entertaining audiences and will be bigger and better than ever.
The show recreates Wolfman Jack's famous radio broadcast in an all-singing, all-dancing, live music extravaganza.
Audiences will be treated to hits from rock 'n' roll's biggest names, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Johnny O'Keefe, Bobby Darin, Chuck Berry, Doris Day, Ritchie Valens and Jerry Lee Lewis.
The show will feature an exciting lineup of 15 singers and dancers, with the cast boasting some of Australia's favourite live entertainers and World Champion dancers, including a number of alumni from Dancing With The Stars.
Kicking off this month and finishing in October, the show will rock audiences in Victoria, Western Australia, Tasmania and Adelaide.
The show is co-produced by director Adam Dion and costume designer Nina Randall.
"Our fully choreographed stage production revels and delights in the era of poodle skirts, bobby socks, high collars and jive dancing to tunes that get you up and dancing in the aisles," Adam said.
Hits performed during the show will include Jailhouse Rock, Twistin' The Night Away, Whatever Will Be, La Bamba, Put Your Head On My Shoulder, along with a range of vintage rockabilly numbers.
