Reg Lindsay stood alone as an Australian country music star.
To celebrate the late singer's 70-year career in the entertainment industry, Reg Lindsay Promotions has released a new CD titled From The Hand of Reg Lindsay featuring 17 tracks including 14 songs written or co-written by Reg and his wife, Ros.
The platinum album's wonderful songs include Silence on the Line, a hit for Reg in the mid-'70s re-recorded as a duet with Reg and Jodie Crosby; Country all the Way, featuring Reg and Donita Dey; and Bonham's Last Ride, which was never released in Australia - Reg recorded it while representing Australia at the sesquicentennial celebrations in Houston, Texas.
Meanwhile, there is also a Reg Lindsay Memory Barn, where visitors can see the entertainer's collection of guitars, stage clothes, awards, Gold records and photos of Reg with artists he helped with his two national television shows.
The barn, named Barlyn, is at 89 Howes Hill Road, Yannergee, NSW 2343.
More information about the Barn and the new CD can be found here.
You can win a copy of the CD, plus two tickets to the Barn, in our competition. The total prize is valued at $50.
