Clinical trials about 'below the belt' cancers and the impacts of such a diagnosis will be discussed at a forum this month.
The Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate (ANZUP) Cancer Trials Group performs clinical trials and will share how that work can help lead to better treatments and outcomes for people affected by such cancers.
Participants can learn from personal experiences about treatment choices and decision-making, listen to valuable advice on the impact of treatments on sexuality and intimacy, and engage in the interactive Q&A session with the panel of clinical experts and patients.
ANZUP's clinical trials program has included more than 7000 patients to date, involved in 28 clinical trials at various stages of development.
'A little below the belt' is on Sunday, July 10, 1.30-m-4pm, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide, SA.
