Japan is slowly reopening its borders to international travellers, but only if they are through guided and organised tours from countries listed as "blue" (low risk), Australia being one of them.
Wendy Wu Tours have been given the go-ahead by the Japanese Government to take its first official group tour to the country next month, with its 12-day Jewels of Japan tour departing on July 26.
Company founder Wendy Wu said an additional tour date was added for July to meet the huge demand for travel. She predicts the warmth and hospitality guests will receive will be "second to none".
The fully inclusive tour is priced from $9,990 per person. To celebrate Japan's reopening, Wendy Wu Tours is offering half price flight single supplements on the July tour as well as selected tours across the full Japan touring program if booked by June 30.
If you can't make the July tour there are additional tours throughout the Japanese autumn and for March and April 2023.
