Tenor Mark Vincent and soprano Julie Lea Goodwin will join conductor Guy Noble and the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra for a special performance on July 10.
A highlight of Willoughby Council's Culture Bites program, Symphony in the Park is a free event and will take place from 2pm in Willoughby Park.
Willoughby Symphony Orchestra is considered a fruitful training ground for professional musicians and includes players who have performed with Opera Australia, Canberra Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
The concert will include performances of famous classical pieces and showtunes such as Nessun Dorma, Phantom of the Opera's Music of the Night, La Boheme's Musetta's Waltz, Tonight from West Side Story and Puccini's O Mio babbino Caro.
Guy Noble said it would be great to lead the orchestra in a performance outdoors after many successful shows inside the Concourse Concert Hall.
"I love outdoor events - it's all about families getting together, bringing a picnic, and then letting the orchestra and two fantastic soloists entertain you with a selection of the top hits from the world of musical theatre and opera," he said.
