The Gold Coast Jazz and Blues Club is presenting a winter program to warm the hearts of jazz lovers.
The club will present a special Bastille Day celebration featuring four-piece group ESTAMPA on July 6.
The champagne will flow and the room will resonate with cries of "Viva la France" as the band regales revellers with a night of first-rate French and continental jazz music.
Club secretary Debra Rempel encouraged guests to dress in their best berets and can-can wear.
On August 3, the club will present an evening with jazz band The Magnificence.
The group's sound takes root in traditional jazz music, but incorporates a number of other influences.
The band consists of brothers Cameron (trumpet and vocals) and Lachi Smith (drums), Paul Edwards (tenor sax), Mark Chalmers (banjo) and Julian Smith (double bass).
Both events will take place from 7.30pm in HOTA's Lakeside room.
