The revolution comes to Sydney, better and stronger in 2022 as the Bastille Festival celebrates all La Belle France has to offer.
From The Rocks to Circular Quay, this French inspired winter festival is on a mission to claim back the loom stolen by Covid.
The free-entry Bastille Festival runs from July 14 - 17, 2022 and will put the pop and cheers back into champagne, bon appétit to every crumbly croissant and melodies to sing and dance the nights away.
March across Circular Quay visiting the Customs House, First Fleet Park, the MCA lawn and The Rocks Xmas in July village and explore to your hearts content
At "The Parisian Village" at the Customs House you can get to taste all the French favourites, such as:
- Raclette (a traditional cheese from the Alps, melted on top of potatoes, pickles and onion)
- Crepes (cooked right in front of you and served with your choice of sweet or savory toppings)
- Saucisson (a delicious, dry sausage that the French love to eat with butter and bread)
- Fresh baguettes (and all of France's favourite stinky cheeses)
In First Fleet Park, the "Tefal Chef Village" will get your tastebuds excited! For the first time, the Bastille is exploring extraordinary food fusion, working with Sydney's best chefs and eateries, to create extraordinary dishes with a French twist.

Roast marshmallows around the fire pits & indulge in cheese and mulled wine just like the french do.
