From delving into our convict history, to exploring towering cathedrals, Brisbane City Walking Tours offer whole new ways to experience the city.
Operated by Museum of Brisbane, the tours offer intriguing insights into the stories that shaped a city, encompassing history, art and culture.
The tours are back by popular demand with an exciting new addition - the Brisbane City Walking Tour: Past and Present. It offers a fast and fun experience, where group members will hear colourful tales from Brisbane's past. Stories shared include tales of the area's traditional custodians and convict stories.
The tour explores some of the city's most impressive sights, including beautiful public art and stunning cathedrals. It finishes with a look at the museum's latest exhibition Making Place: 100 Views of Brisbane.
The walking tour program also includes three popular returning tours - the Public Art Walking Tour, History on the Hill Walking Tour and Tides of Brisbane.
The Public Art Walking Tour showcases the art, history and culture of the city's public spaces; the History on the Hill Walking Tour lifts the lid on the hidden history of Spring Hill; and Tides of Brisbane explores all aspects of Brisbane river life.
All tickets for the Tides of Brisbane boat tour are $120. Member and concession tickets for the other tours are $20 (Brisbane City Walking Tour), and $30 (Public Art and History on the Hill).
