He is best known for his John Lennon shows, but now acclaimed tribute artist Stewart D'Arrietta is celebrating one of music's greatest poets.
Stewart will pay tribute to Leonard Cohen at Randwick's Ritz Cinema on March 27 and at Lizotte's Newcastle on April 24 (2pm).
My Leonard Cohen will feature Cohen classics including Tower of Song, Dance Me to The End of Love and First We Take Manhattan, delivered in Cohen's trademark gravelly voice. The show will also offer insights into the great performer through storytelling and poetry exploring themes of life, love, lust and loss.
Stewart's interpretations of Cohen's music will delight seasoned fans and new listeners, alike.
The veteran tribute artist is most recognised for his Lennon Through a Glass Onion performances, a homage he co-created with John Waters.
He is also known for tribute shows Tom Waits For No Man and My Joe Cocker.
The Randwick Ritz performance will take place during the Jewish International Film Festival, with doors to open from 4.30pm and the show to start at 5pm. To book click HERE.
