IT'S the film festival with a firm view on the future, and Transitions Film Festival is set to return to Melbourne with some mind blowing ideas.
This year's festival will take place in Melbourne's CBD and online from February 18-March 13.
It will present an enthralling program of world-changing documentaries, with film subjects ranging from the climate and sustainable food, to technology and its pioneers, who are helping to create a better world.
The festival will offer more than 20 virtual sessions available online, nationwide, as well as a small selection of screenings in Melbourne.
Ecocide is a narrative legal drama set in the fictional world of 2034 that sees Germany's Angela Merkel put on trial for a failure to act on climate change. Youth Vs Gov follows 21 young plaintiffs who sue the American government for failing to protect them from the climate crisis.

A.rtificial I.mmortality features a digital Deepak Chopra and explores the heavy subject matter of digital immortality and post-biological life, while Father of The Cyborgs explores a future of humanity which can only be described as mind blowing.
