GET ready to say hello to some old friends again - The Wind in the Willows is coming back to Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens.
Glenn Elston's hugely popular outdoor production of Kenneth Grahame's beloved children's story about life on the riverbank, will return to the gardens from January 5-23.
Mr Toad, Head Chief Rabbit, Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter and Portly will all be on hand for a fun morning or evening of family entertainment
The show is very interactive and the grandkids will laugh with delight as Head Chief Rabbit transforms the whole audience into "little rabbits" with a wiggle of the nose and a waggle of the ears.
They will have chance to call out loud, sing along and truly feel like they are part of the adventure.
The show will take place on the Sydney Harbour foreshore and families are welcome to pack a picnic lunch
The show will be on at 10.30am Wednesdays, 10.30am and 6pm Thursday-Saturday and 11am on Sundays with an additional Wednesday show at 6pm on January 5.
Tickets range from $25-$30, with family passes for groups of four from $90-$110.
Tickets can be booked or purchased on site approximately one hour before show time, subject to availability.
