SERVE up a plate this October in a bid to battle breast cancer.
This delicious fundraising initiative invites Australians to take on the challenge of cooking a three course Indian feast to raise money for life-saving breast cancer clinical trials research.
All those concerned they don't have the culinary prowess to pull off a three-course menu, need not worry, they will have top chef and TV Personality Sarah Todd by their side.
Sarah is renowned for her sumptuous Indian flavours and has curated a fresh, healthy menu that is sure to appeal to every palette.
Sarah is passionate about supporting Breast Cancer Trials as her own mum Lorraine was diagnosed with breast cancer on her 50th birthday. Sarah was only 21 when her mum received the devastating news.
"Mum was a single mother who raised three children, worked full time and did everything on her own. I see her as a superwoman. When she got sick, it was a huge shock for her to go from caregiver to the one needing to receive care for the first time."
Sarah recalls how hard it was to watch her mum undergo chemotherapy treatment, seeing the pain she was in. She says, "Nobody really talks about the fact that losing your hair can cause crazy amounts of pain.
Mum felt like her scalp was being stabbed with pins as her hair fell out."
Sarah knows that without the advances made in breast cancer clinical trials research, it could have been a different outcome for her mum.
All registered 3 Course Challenge participants who raise $150 or more can join Sarah for a livestreamed cooking class where she will share tips and tricks to ensure their three-course meal will be a delicious success.
Then you can share your new skills with your friends either in person or, restrictions don't allow, via a virtual dinner party.
And those who don't like Indian don't have to miss out - you can host a dinner party with whatever flavours or cuisines you enjoy!
