Bloodlands is a gripping, four-part thriller set in Northern Ireland.
When an expensive car is pulled from the sea, veteran Northern Ireland police detective Tom Brannick (James Nesbitt), instantly sees the connection to an infamous cold case that holds enormous personal significance for him - a notorious and long-buried series of mysterious disappearances.
Bloodlands follows Tom Brannick's obsessive campaign to identify and unmask the semi-mythical figure behind these events - a figure code-named Goliath, after the giant shipyard cranes, Samson and Goliath that dominate the Belfast skyline. It's a case that comes from Tom's - and his country's - dark past.
From executive producer Jed Mercurio (Bodyguard, Line of Duty) and starring James Nesbitt (The Missing, Cold Feet), the Guardian dubbed it as "a fine addition to the growing genre of Irish noir".
Bloodlands features four 60-minute episodes and is rated M for mature themes, violence and course language. Available from June 16, RRP $34.95.
The Senior has two copies of the DVD to give away.
