A 23-year-old Tasmanian man has been charged after being accused of coercing children in Australia and the US to create lewd images of themselves.
The man, from Launceston, faces 11 counts of involving a person under 18 years to produce child exploitation material and one count of possessing child exploitation material.
Tasmania Police allege the man contacted children across Australia and the US and coerced them to produce lewd images and videos of themselves over a two-year period.
It's further alleged the images were then electronically sent to the man.
He's on bail to appear at Launceston Magistrates Court on June 2.
