AFTER unexpectedly stalling in May, MotorEx will finally celebrate its 20th year this February.
Originally scheduled to take place in May, Australia's largest elite car show is now set to rev up car lovers at The Melbourne Showgrounds on February 6 and 7.
Tickets and car entries for the popular event went on sale last Wednesday.
The event will showcases some of Australia's best elite-quality cars and features a huge trade show.
It will also feature hundreds of modified street cars and driving demonstrations by some of Australia's best drifters.
Burnout Masters will also be at the festival for the first time to let loose some outright tyre destruction.
Promoter Andy Lopez said organisers had submitted a comprehensive COVID management plan and were excited the event had been green lighted.
"The excitement in the auto business community is fantastic," he said.
"We'll have more than 800 amazing cars on site and a record 20 unveils locked in."
"I can't thank our major partners Meguiar's, Rare Spares, Shannons, Milwaukee and Bursons enough for sticking with us throughout what's been a pretty ordinary year for events."
Under COVID-Safe regulations tickets will be limited to 5000 people per day, so tickets will be strictly limited.
