SYDNEY Open 2020 is going digital and will offer a special insight into the city's most significant buildings, urban design and open spaces this weekend.
This year's free event will be held over three days, from November 6-8.
It will give audiences the chance to watch, explore and interact with Sydney's architecture, gardens and public spaces.
This year's event will cover three themes - city, garden and home.
Audiences will have a chance to explore the role that architecture and urban design has played in the evolution of the city and gain a glimpse of where it may take the city going forward.
They will also have the chance to take a close look at the city's green spaces and take a look behind the closed doors of some of its most impressive homes.
The event's program features self-guided audio tours, behind the scenes home tours, architectural information and live-streamed discussions.
It also includes the Paradise on Earth digital exhibition, the chance to engage with the program via social media and live Q&A sessions.
Sydney Living Museums executive director Adam Lindsay said it was important to celebrate Sydney.
"By showcasing significant and historical buildings, public spaces and homes, we come to realise how important architecture and design is to our quality of life and the way we live," he said.
People can follow the event's e-newsletter or follow @sydneyisopen on Twitter or Instagram for the latest updates.
