SYDNEYSIDERS who love a bit of cabaret are in for a Christmas treat, with Trevor Ashley to reprise his role as Liza Minnelli.
Trevor will present Ring Them Bells! A Very Liza Christmas at the Paddo RSL over three consecutive Sundays on November 29, December 6 and December 13.
The entertainer will present a festive catalogue of songs - from Silver Bells to White Christmas, with smatterings of mistletoe and lashings of eggnog for good measure.
Liza will also share Christmas stories such as childhood memories with her "Mama" under the tree and the time she missed Christmas while dancing at Studio 54.
The show will feature new musical arrangements by James Simpson, accompaniment by a seven-piece band and musical direction from Andy Davies.
Trevor Ashley has performed as Liza to widespread acclaim all over the world, including off Broadway in New York and in London's West End.
