THE Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) will present a digital program to celebrate artistic director Richard Tognetti's 30 years in the role.
The week long season will run from June 15-21 and will be streamed on the orchestra's website and social media platforms.
The program aims to celebrate Richard's legacy as a performer, composer, director and all round creative force for the orchestra.
It will feature premiere performances, broadcasts of some of the orchestra's most popular concerts, new music, guest artists and interviews.
The program will culminate with the online premiere of Mountain - a 2017 cinematic collaboration with Sherpa director Jennifer Peedom on World Music Day.
ACO has also partnered with ABC Classic which will broadcast a program on its radio, online and social platforms.
Richard Tognetti and the ACO will perform live in the ABC Classic studio at 1pm on June 18 as part of the program.
Richard said the ACO had been committed to providing engaging experiences for audiences sitting at home during lockdown.
"Our first digital season, the ACO HomeCasts series has reached over 1.5m people, tuning into over 20 performances," he said.
Other highlights include a performance of a new original song by Richard and his performance of Beethoven's Violin Concerto at Sydney Opera House in 2018.
