COMPARING energy deals is now easier thanks to the updated Energy Made Easy website.
New features on the Australian Energy Regulator's price comparator website include the ability to search for energy plans using your energy meter data or by uploading a bill; full website translation into 33 languages; and the ability to include retailer solar feed-in credits in estimated plan costs.
"Now more than ever consumers are conscious of their bills and looking for ways to save," said the body's chair Clare Savage.
"While there are protections in place for Australian households and small businesses who are having trouble paying their energy bills, it's also important to shop around and get the best deal.
"In 2019, over one million Australians visited our Energy Made Easy website to compare energy plans to make informed energy choices."
Energy Made Easy helps consumers and small businesses in NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT find and compare generally available electricity and gas plans from all providers in their area so they can make informed decisions.
