"The event is about much more than sport, it's also about connecting and developing new relationships."
There will be plenty of activities, entertainment and events during the opening ceremony on April 16, while Olympian Steven Bradbury will be a special guest for the closing ceremony on April 19.
Kingsley said organisers were hoping the Bespoke riding event would become an annual fixture and that the event would provide a big boost for the area's economy.
He said they hoped the event would attract guests from across the border.
