Members of The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association (ASCCA) will be busy offering information and courses and hosting informative talks by expert speakers.
Free two-hour sample courses at the training centre in Pitt Street, Sydney, will cover travel apps for Android mobile phones (Feb 18, 10.30am), Google photos (Feb 18, 1.30pm), travel apps for Apple iPhones (Feb 20, 10.30am) and free music and podcasts using Spotify (Feb 19, 1.30pm).

As part of the ASCCA SPLASH program, seniors computer clubs from the Northern Beaches will present an informative and humour-infused talk on how to stay safe online, on the phone and on email. Topics will include scams, creating and remembering passwords, avoiding identity theft, and safer online shopping and banking.
Main speaker for the Stop, Look and Listen - Safety First Online presentation will be Greg Gebhard from the Office of the e-safety Commissioner. The venue is Dee Why RSL Club, 10am for 10.30 start, on February 19. Entry free; bookings not required.
Newcastle Computer Pals for Seniors will hold a two-day digital showcase at Islington Public School Hall on February 24-25. Monday's program has a guest speaker and demonstrations from 9.30-11.30am and workshops from 12.30-2.30pm. Tuesday sees workshops from 12.30-2pm.
